Dear Friend of the Eno,
Memorial Day is right around the corner, and then around the next corner is the annual Festival for the Eno on July 3, 4 and 5! We are busy signing up volunteers and getting ready for three days of music, art, education and community fun on the banks of the Eno River. Read below for information about volunteering and purchasing advance tickets, as well as a complete listing of everything going on this month on the Eno.
FESTIVAL FOR THE ENO
31st Annual Festival for the Eno
- July 3, 4 and 5
West Point on the Eno, Durham City Park
This is our BIGGEST event of the year, and it's our biggest awareness and fund raiser too. The Festival is all about music, art, community, and the river but it's also about raising money to continue our work protecting land and clean water in the Eno River Valley. You can be part of the fun by volunteering, or buying a ticket, or by making a donation(or all of the above!).
We have hundreds of volunteer spaces to fill for the Festival, not to mention the days leading up to the event, and the days following this three day extravaganza. Contact volunteer@enoriver.org or visit http://www.enoriver.org/Festival/volunteer.php to fill out our online form. Volunteers get in FREE to the Festival on the day of their volunteer shift.
Earlybird tickets are available online only until May 31st. Visit http://www.enoriver.org/Festival/index.html and click on the Earlybird link.
Advance tickets will go on sale on June 1st. Visit www.enoriver.org/festival/index.html to view a listing of advance ticket outlets around the area.
